The Prism

You can choose to view this world as a prison,

That necessarily elicits pessimism,

By limiting permissions, a dimension of dualism,

Where you feel disempowered, dependent on institutions,

Cowering from ridicule and derision,

Fearing opposition, nearing cataclysm,

With a frequency rivalled only by,

Your inability to catch the rhythm,

Or you can choose to see truth, it’s just you,

Who needs to make a decision,

Reposition your perspective in relation to the prison,

To see that it’s a prism of infinite potential,

Not limiting, but a liberating arrangement,

Of geography,geometry, cosmology,

Beyond what the eyes can see or the mind perceive,

It’s easy to see we’ve been wide asleep for time,

But now it’s time to wake, shake off the fake,

Today’s the day, the day is always today,

Yesterday’s spent, the nextawaits, so make it great.

Do what you want, do what youplease, do what you feel,

You don’t need to be told what is legal,feel it, you were born free,

Trust yourself to be, it’s easy if you see,

That it’s fear that leads to feelings of anxious hostility,

They’re not the frequencies of love and equanimity,

We need to be proliferating, bliss waits in the wings,

We’re making a transformation, realisation,

Paving the path of liberation, transmutation,

Emancipation for the taking.

Discover your limits only to realise you create them,

So that you can break them,

Analyse, adjust, spifflicate, then eliminate them,

You’re not bound by statements of your own making,

Or those of someone standing or sitting opposite or adjacent,

Or even far away from the location you’re placed in,

You don’t have to go chasing validation, we make mistakes,

We change our minds, we need to exercise some patience,

Find a way to see the truth, not filtered through,

A fabricated screen of self-victimisation,

Manipulation is blatant, we’re awaking from a huge snooze,

Beware of what you read through the news, numbers don’t lie,

But statistics can be used to divide and conquer,

Disorientate and confuse you, don’t let authorities abuse you,

Or misinformed interviewees fool you, it’s bonkers, threw the rules down the loo,

Too long ago to rue what it brought me to, never too long in the tooth,

Untrulywithout T’s unruly, forsooth.
